The Medikit Gloflon Grey insertion of a venous catheter is indicated in the following cases:
- Administration of intravenous therapy drugs
- Administration of intravenous fluids and electrolytes
- Administration of parenteral nutrition
- Blood-derivative transfusion
- Administration of intravenous agents for diagnostic purposes (e.g. contrast agents)
For the placement of the intravenous catheter, the following veins are selected:
- of the dorsal surface of the hand
- of the forearm
- of the foot
